Born and raised in Lansing, Michigan, John heard the Gospel and received Christ at the age of eight. He graduated high school and received his BA in Business Management from Spring Arbor College.
John is a graduate of Rhema Bible Training Center and joined the staff of a large church in Lansing, MI in 1987, where he served as a senior associate for a quarter century, overseeing a large staff and upwards of 400 volunteers.
John resigned in 2012 and served as an interim pastor for a large non-denominational church in Dewitt, Michigan. He is currently managing his company, Windfall Construction, and is involved in missions in India, working actively with KJM, as well as preaching at the large prisons in Jackson, Michigan.
John and his wife Kerry recently celebrated 34 years of marriage and have six adult children and one extraordinary granddaughter. John’s son, Evan, is also one of the pastors on the KJM team.
