Being in the jail daily is fullness of joy.
It is by total surrender to Christ, while on the jail floor, that the LORD enables us to experience the presence of GOD with the jail inmates. There is no room for condemnation, of any sort, in a place of such emergency, where people are in such urgent, immediate need. Joy is in being nothing, and thereby in seeing GOD everywhere. An inmate in the jail, last week, who has nothing but a Bible, in one small room alone everyday, received Jesus a few weeks ago, and has been set on fire by GOD. This inmate said to me: “I ain’t never felt nothing like this before.” I previously wrote about this inmate in email blast #47.
